Securing the Cloud

Working in the cloud has a myriad of benefits for your small business – from flexibility to the ability to grow to the cost savings – but there are risks that haven’t been faced before as well.  From well-meaning (or not!) employees leaking classified internal information, to viruses with the capability to take down your system overnight, to hackers intent on destruction, there are threats to your business on all sides.  A traditional security system may not understand these threats, much less be able to effectively protect you.  Too many traditional security systems rely on stacking and patching various specific solutions to protect your business, rather than creating one comprehensive system that protects you on all sides.  That stacking and patching method can be dangerous – you think you’re protected, but too often there are loopholes and backdoors left open that could come back to haunt you.

So, what’s a small business owner to do?  Security is still vital, after all – you can’t just leave your business open to attack because the system isn’t perfect.  If there isn’t a better way, you have to work with what you have – right?  Luckily, there is a better way available to you.  Zscaler is a cloud security solution that is flexible enough to completely protect your business, no matter what sort of protection you’re looking for.  By having your security in the cloud (where your business is!) you get all the flexibility and customization that comes with cloud solutions,, without sacrificing security.  Zscaler’s system of checkpoints between your business information & the open internet ensures that no threats can get in, and no classified information can get out no matter what path they’re trying to use.  Peace of mind that your business is safe no matter what – that’s priceless.
